This is how we normally work with brands:

- 3–7 day sampling — Most standard samples can be developed within 3–7 days once the measurements, fabric requirements, and construction details are confirmed.
- 25–30 day bulk production — For standard styles, bulk production normally takes around 25–30 days after sample approval. The actual schedule depends on the fabric, quantity, number of styles, and production plan.
- Small first orders and repeat production — Some customers start with a smaller quantity to test a new style before increasing the order. Repeat orders can then be produced from the approved sample and production specifications.
- Fabric checked before cutting — Fabric is inspected for color, width, weight, surface defects, stretch, and other characteristics that may affect cutting and sewing.

Different lace constructions can be used for different dress silhouettes. The same lace may also need different handling depending on whether it is used on the full garment, sleeves, bodice, panels, or as an overlay.

Lace Fabric Options
We use different lace constructions depending on the look and construction of the dress. The fabric name alone does not tell us everything we need to know before cutting.
Lace is more sensitive to handling than standard woven fabrics. Before bulk cutting, we check the lace width, pattern repeat, stretch recovery, fabric weight, transparency, and edge condition. For styles using a scalloped edge, the placement is also checked against the pattern pieces so the finished hem keeps the intended look.
Different lace constructions can behave quite differently during sewing, so the fabric is reviewed together with the pattern and garment design rather than treated as a standard fabric choice.
Chantilly lace is lightweight and often has a delicate border or repeating motif. Before cutting, we check the border and repeat so the main pattern is positioned properly on visible garment sections.
Guipure is heavier and usually has larger, more defined motifs. The pattern pieces may need to be positioned carefully so important motifs do not end up directly across an awkward seam.
With embroidered lace, the embroidered areas become part of the pattern layout. We check the density and position of the embroidery before cutting so important decorative areas are not unnecessarily divided by seams.
Stretch changes the way a garment fits. If the fabric is stretched too much during sewing, curved seams can become wavy and the finished garment may not sit as intended.
Large floral motifs need more attention during pattern placement. Depending on the design, we may position larger flowers on the front, back, or sleeves rather than allowing an important motif to be cut through.
Lace mesh is often used for sheer sleeves, panels, necklines, and overlays. Its stretch and stability need to be checked before sewing because uneven tension can affect the appearance of sheer sections.
Appliqué placement is confirmed before the pieces are attached. The edges are trimmed where necessary and the appliqué is secured so it lies flat without lifting or pulling away from the base fabric.

Our Lace Dress Sample & Production Team
Our sample room has 15 pattern makers and 35 sample sewers working on new styles and sample orders.
The first sample is where many practical garment decisions are made. A neckline may need to be reshaped, a sleeve opening adjusted, or a lining moved slightly after the fabric is actually sewn. These changes are easier to make before the style enters bulk production.
Once the sample is approved, the production team works from the confirmed pattern, measurements, fabric, trims, and construction details.
Because the sample and bulk production teams work in the same factory, changes made during development can be passed directly to the production side.

Lace Dress Construction & Quality Checks
The difficult part of lace production is not simply sewing the fabric together. The way the lace is positioned, joined, lined, and finished can change the appearance of the whole dress.
Lace Motif Alignment
Before cutting, visible areas such as the front, back, and sleeves are checked for motif placement.
After sewing, joined panels are checked again. Small shifts may not be obvious on the cutting table but can become noticeable once two patterned pieces are sewn together.
Lining & Transparency
Lining affects how the finished lace looks when worn.
We compare the lining with the approved sample for color, coverage, and position. On partially lined garments, the transition between lined and unlined areas also needs to be checked because it can change the perceived transparency of the lace.
Scalloped Edge Finish
A scalloped or eyelash lace border cannot always be treated like a normal fabric hem.
Where the original lace edge is part of the design, the pattern pieces are arranged to preserve it. After sewing, the edge is checked for damaged motifs, uneven cutting, and areas that may have been stretched out of shape.
Seam & Stretch Control
Stretch lace needs controlled handling during sewing.
Too much tension can cause a curved seam to wave or change the finished fit. This is especially important around fitted areas, armholes, curved seams, and other sections where the fabric is under tension.
Embellishment Security
Beads, sequins, embroidery, and appliqué require additional checks.
Loose beads, missing decorative pieces, exposed threads, and appliqués that do not sit flat are corrected before packing. Decorative details are also compared with the approved sample to keep the bulk garments consistent.

Our merchandising and sample teams review the measurements, construction, fabric, lining, trims, and finishing requirements. If a detail is difficult to produce as shown, we discuss it before making the sample rather than waiting until bulk production.
If the required fabric is not already specified, we can help source suitable materials through our supplier network in China.
The selection is based on more than appearance. Weight, drape, hand feel, stretch, transparency, surface finish, and the way the fabric behaves during sewing all matter.
The first sample shows how the design works in an actual garment.
The sample room checks the measurements, shape, seams, lining, sleeves, closures, hems, and other construction points. If something does not sit correctly, the pattern or sewing method can be adjusted before the next sample.
The approved sample becomes the production reference.
Before bulk cutting starts, the production team reviews the confirmed measurements, fabric, trims, construction, finishing, labels, and other specifications.
Once the style is approved, the order moves into cutting and sewing.
Cutting plans are prepared according to the fabric and pattern. Sewing operations are arranged around the garment construction, with measurements and workmanship checked during production.
QC checks continue through production rather than being left entirely until the end.
Fabric is checked before cutting, selected sewing operations are inspected during production, and finished garments are checked before packing. Any pieces requiring correction are separated and rechecked.
Finished dresses are pressed, folded, labeled, and packed according to the agreed packing instructions.
Carton quantities, labels, polybags, hangtags, and other packaging details are checked before the cartons are sealed for shipment.
