What Is OEM Clothing Manufacturing?
OEM clothing manufacturing allows fashion brands to produce garments based on their own designs, tech packs, specifications, or reference samples. The brand owns the design and branding, while the factory handles the production process, from material sourcing and pattern development to sampling and bulk manufacturing.
Best for: Fashion brands with existing designs, product concepts, or developed collections
You provide: Tech packs, measurement specs, design files, or reference samples
We handle: Fabric sourcing, pattern making, sampling, production, quality inspection, and packaging

Our Clothing Production Process

You provide your sketches, tech packs, or samples. Our team reviews construction details and production requirements.

You can choose suitable fabrics based on your product positioning, quality expectations, and target customers.

Your sample is developed and adjusted until the fitting, materials, and details meet your requirements.

After sample approval, your order moves into production with confirmed specifications.

Your finished products go through inspection before packing and shipment.
Low MOQ for Startups and Growing Brands
Starting a fashion brand often requires flexibility. You may not need thousands of pieces for your first collection, but you still need reliable production quality.
We support Low MOQ orders for fashion startups, boutique owners, and emerging brands. For new styles, we can start with smaller quantities instead of requiring a large first order. MOQ generally starts from 50–100 pieces, depending on the style, fabric, and production requirements. This is useful for brands that want to test a new style before placing a larger order.

Private Label Clothing Production
For private label orders, we can arrange custom labels, hangtags, trims, packaging, and other brand-specific details according to your approved specifications. You can provide your own designs or reference samples, and we handle the production work from sampling to bulk manufacturing.
Our team handles the manufacturing work behind your private label collection.

Quality Control
From fabric inspection to final checking, every production stage is monitored to reduce quality issues before shipment.

What You Need to Provide for an OEM Order
Before sampling, we normally need the basic product information below. You do not need to have every detail finalized, but more complete information helps us prepare a more accurate sample and costing.
For sampling and costing, it is useful to provide:
- Technical drawings or sketches
- Tech packs
- Measurement charts
- Size grading information
- Fabric composition requirements
- GSM or fabric weight preferences
- Color references or Pantone codes
- Print or embroidery artwork
- Label and trim details
- Packaging requirements
- Quantity per style, size, and color
- Target price range
- Delivery expectations
A complete tech pack is especially useful. It helps the manufacturer understand the garment before sampling begins. It reduces misunderstandings, speeds up pricing, and improves accuracy during production.
If some specifications are missing, we can review the available information with you before the sample is made.
Our OEM & Private Label Services
Depending on the style, you may need a specific fabric, construction detail, size range, or order quantity. We review these requirements before production starts.
Before bulk production, you receive samples to check fitting, fabric performance, measurements, and finishing details. Our sampling team adjusts the details based on your feedback, helping you reduce production risks before placing larger orders.
Choosing the right fabric can directly affect product quality and customer feedback. With long-term supplier relationships, we help you select suitable materials based on your design, target market, and budget.
Your clothing collection requires consistency from the first piece to the final shipment. Our production team follows confirmed samples and specifications to maintain stable quality during bulk manufacturing.
Quality problems usually happen when details are missed during production. Our QC team checks materials, sewing processes, measurements, finishing, and final products to ensure your order meets approved standards.
Inside Our Manufacturing Workshop
At Xiuyu Apparel, every OEM clothing order follows a practical production workflow from the first material check to final shipment. Our team handles each stage in-house, including fabric inspection, pattern preparation, sampling, bulk production, and quality checks before packing.
Before moving into bulk production, we make a pre-production sample to confirm the garment construction, measurements, fit, and finishing details. This step allows our team and customers to review the actual product before production starts and make any necessary adjustments in advance.
Here, you can see how we handle the clothing manufacturing process inside our workshop, from material preparation and cutting to sewing, inspection, and final packing.

 Fabric Warehouse
When fabrics arrive at our warehouse, our team checks each roll and records the material details. Batch information helps us track fabrics from preparation to production and reduce problems during bulk garment manufacturing. The fabric team records incoming materials before production scheduling begins.

Fabric Inspection
Before cutting begins, our QC team inspects every fabric roll using the Four-Point Fabric Inspection System. We check each roll for shade variation, surface defects, and overall fabric condition before it is released for cutting. This step is especially important for fabrics with satin, silk, or delicate surfaces, where small defects can affect the final appearance of the garment.

Fabric Pre-shrinking
Approved fabric is pre-shrunk before cutting to control shrinkage and keep measurements more consistent during bulk production.

Automatic Cutting
Once the cutting markers are confirmed, the automatic cutter cuts the panels according to the approved pattern. This keeps panel dimensions consistent across the production run.

Bulk Production & Sewing
Skilled sewing operators assemble garments according to approved patterns, samples, and production requirements. Regular checks on stitching and construction details help maintain consistent workmanship across OEMÂ bulk orders.

In-line Inspection
During sewing, QC checks measurements, stitching, construction details, and workmanship. Problems can be corrected at the production line instead of being carried through to finishing.

In-line Pressing
Garments are pressed during production to keep the shape under control and make sure seams and key areas sit properly before the next stage. The pressing stage prepares garments for final inspection and packing before bulk shipment.

Final Pressing
Final pressing is completed after the main sewing work and before the last inspection. Garments are checked for appearance and finishing before they move to packing.

Final Inspection
Before loading, our QC team checks finished garments for measurements, stitching quality, appearance, labels, and packing condition. After final approval, orders are prepared for shipment.

Garment Packing
After final inspection, our packing team folds and packs finished garments following the order instructions. Labels, tags, and carton details are checked before sealing and loading for shipment.

Finished Goods Check
Before loading, our warehouse team reviews finished garments by style, color, and size. Carton quantities, labels, and packing details are checked carefully to avoid shipment errors.

Container Loading
After packing, cartons are loaded into containers based on the order and shipment arrangement. The loading team checks carton placement and stacking to keep products secure during transit.
